If you haven't seen all of it don't check your PMs just yet!

Liked that one; probably the most satisfying episode of the current series.

Eccleston can act - and I mean that he is able to go the extra mile when needed. I don’t think the scripts he had were any better (or worse) than the current ones. He was just able to add something to the role which I am not sure Tennant did. I liked Tennant’s doctor, but I think he had more limits. I am liking Matt Smith more - I think he has an instability which seems to reflect Troughton’s Doctor. We are now over half way into the series, and I still don’t know if we are seeing the stories in a sensible order - ie in the order the Doctor will perceive them, not the order Amy (and by extension we) is (are). I think Moffat is doing something clever with time travel, and we’ll know more about the arc’s narrative in episodes to come.

I take your point about Chris. Although I still feel that those individual stories had more sense of wonder and adventure about them and less last minute easy saves. You know what, I thought that at the very beginning of this ep and instantly connected it with the opener. Within seconds I must've dismissed it out of hand and only now, has you reminding me, got me thinking about it.

I wish they would "drop" Amy Pond character - find her very irritating - only there as "eye candy"?

Ooh two words for you. Mouth and soap. I wish The Doctor was stronger though. She does seem to upstage him at times.

Yes but so were many in the past. Though I quite like her unlike some of the previous companions.

Hello yes. I've been kind of avoiding this thread because there's some big spoilers for the next episode online and I've wanted to avoid them. Have I missed much? Mark

No, but I never received a response to my post further up the page.... Besides how many of the idiots here watch the "next time" bs at the end of the show?? Get a [LIFTED] clue. I turn it off.

I do. If I hadn't watched the end bit I wouldn't know what I know about next weeks episode, (being careful not to say anything here) and I wouldn't be sitting here now thinking how much I am looking forward to it.

Ah. Let me formulate my thoughts. That's a bit harsh. I watch the trailer for the next show but generally want to keep away from the bigger spoilers that crop up from time-to-time revolving this show. Mark

Yeah, maybe a little. But I'm in a harsh mood today. I've been ill for four days now and the temperature and headaches are really wearing me thin.
Still true though. It's not like you're not gonna watch next weeks ep, so why see half of it this week? Just wait. Patience is a lost art in our society and the BBC (along with practically everything else on television) aren't helping.
