If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Vodafone has announced their prices... http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/iphone/pricing.htmlAbout the same as Orange but with 1GB data instead of 750MB data. Any idea what a reasonable data usage is? i.e. if I have apps like email and twitter and I use the odd game that might play online or update stats?! Not sure if I'll be using spotify as I will have all my music on it anyway.

I don't think you can use Spotify on the 3G network unless you jailbreak the phone. Either 750MB or 1GB is loads of data for the stuff you just mentioned - you probably won't even use 10% of it!

You will be able to Monday, in theory. I use 1GB every 3 months, roughly using the iPhone as it is. I can't honestly see me using all that much more with an iOS 4 device. It's not as if I'd be listening to Spotify all day anyway... Jon

Decision made for me... Vodafone, £30 a month, 24 month contract, 32GB Black iPhone4! Just spoke to Orange to get a PAC code and the guy was telling me that I was talking rubbish about the prices. Even when I told him I was looking at the website he first told me that you had to pay £5 a month extra for the data and also the price was Ex VAT! Spoke to Voda just now to confirm and I was right and the prices are incl. VAT.

http://shop.o2.co.uk/new-iphone/wheretobuy.htmlO2 have swiftly removed themselves from a race that they were in last place in anyway.

Smart move from o2 - that's what they market themselves on, treating their customers well.

Interesting. Shame they've got a massive chunk of all iphone customers & I expect the same amount of stock as the rest.

I doubt that will be a problem. They already have millions of users so even if they only have a small percentage willing to upgrade it might still not be enough.

I'm sticking with O2 now as the price point for me is the same for all but less hassle changing. Can upgrade with no contract overlap.
Also O2 will only sell them in the shops, no online orders till the end of july. Glad I've got Thursday off.

Tesco are still sticking with the registration page, and with no white iPhones I will have to wait for a month or more. Though with many of the others announcing prices soon Tesco might be able to undercut them in some way. Since they are on the O2 network, and the signal here is good I can live with that.

Went into my local O2 shop this evening. They're doing sales on the day but they also have a 'reserve list' where they'll keep one for you to pick up on Friday for the first 20 people on the list. So I put myself on that. Really don't mind waiting 24 hours. Of course they may let me down and just sell to people on the Thursday but frankly I can do without the grief of queueing and the Iike.
