Well tesco sent me an email telling me that the new Xbox 360 was now in stock I bit the bullet and bought one. I also managed to get another 1000 clubcard points for spending more than £150 on gaming. Which means this month I have accumulated another few hundred air miles. 8-)

if u sign up for a shell fuel card then you can build up air miles on that too

Apparently the Monroes come with bushes. Sorted.

I don't know... guess so. I'm the only English white person on my team in UK lol. We have foreign white people too - as Bratty would say ;)

I find myself actually considering acquiring a tandem...

So, any advice or pitfalls I should be aware of before I really consider stumping up some dosh such a beast?

Heather, I was about to post a link to the Queen track Bicycle Race on YouTube, but it requires age verification as "This video or group may contain content that is inappropriate for some users, as flagged by YouTube's user community."
Pity.

That possibly sums it up.

Why do you want one?

Well, Best Beloved is no spring chicken, what with age and sight problems and all. We're off to Stony Stratford for a few days, and if there's one thing Milton Keynes is rather good at it's cycle paths.

As BB isn't able to drive any more, our trip is going to revolve around a lot of parking so we can visit the places we want. We were talking about borrowing a couple of bikes, and then hit on the idea of a tandem as an eminently sensible option for the pair of us.

Obviously, we won't get one for this trip, but it's certainly something we'd be interested in down the line. If it means we can both get out in the fresh air, get a little fitter, and get to places you can't quite reach in a car, then it's definitely something I'd like to know more about.

You make it sound delightful. I have no information to proffer, but I admire your thinking :)

Some stuff about cycling in Milton Keynes...

You're referring to the redway paths, which were one of thwe many things I liked about Milton Keynes. A tandem would make sense, and... I'm wondering if hiring one would be an option...?

Might be worth investigating...

If you want to pull the lame excuse of "I dont modify it, it's what the manager wants" you can't use the "I'm not changing it, it's how I do it, it's not my code, I just copy and paste it"

In fact you can't pull the 2nd...ever

(Lamest excuse for not fixing any email address validation or null ref exceptions ever)
