I get an email from huiowhfeiohfioehfioehfhuieow@diwhjdiowh ... wiofwe.com selling Cialis, and the junk mail filter doesn't block that [LIFTED]?

My Dad's been having printer difficulties.
He'd set up wireless printing, which wasn't connecting to the router etc. etc. etc.
So I plugged it in via the USB port.
As it's right next to his machine.
They share his desk and wireless printing seems utterly pointless.

My father, the fcuked-up cnut, has been using my £70 pair of boots to prop stuff up in the cupboard - I'll be lucky if I can wear them again they're that out of shape. I think I'll make his life a nightmare at every opportunity now, I'm just sick of it

RE: printer - I often prefer wired over wireless. Why did he set it up for wireless? Sounds a bit pointless.
RE: boots - I share your pain re: fathers

ION I got up this morning, wash and waxed the car. Got positive comments from passersby and drivers. Come out at noon to go food shopping and it was covered in bird sh!t. Completely peeved me off.

Yeah, I always go for wired over wireless, more reliable and secure and no nasty radio waves...

Christ on a trip to sort out the Vatican - why does my mother believe I can hear her talking at normal volume when she's at the bottom of the stairs and I'm in my room? With music on!

If this is what's destined for me it's a fcuking shotgun and a sorry note to the poor owner in 30 years time or so. I'm starting to think we've gone too far with the old life expectancy thing... I'd suggest Logan's Run but they'll only turn it into a 'reality' show, and anyway, maybe there'll be a cure for being wilfully retarded

No no, some families would have killed each other by now if it wasn't for technology. It's a fantastic way to communicate AND keep your distance.

This thread is no place for you and your rational arguments.

Haha, I used to think like you then met my wife who had an mx5.

To be fair, I test drove an MX-5 and if you're a bloke that's any sort of height at all, you're more in than under the roof when it's up and more looking over rather than through the windscreen when it's down. I could see how someone might be put off by that.

I know that Chrysler dealers would not sell Crossfire convertibles to people over a certain height. I wonder if that is true with other dealers.

Well my printer is next to my PC but that is set up wireless as I want to be able to print from my laptop that’s in the living room and (although I have no basis for this belief) believe that the printer will operate in either a wired or wireless mode so if I connected it via USB it would not print from my laptop and as the wireless works OK I see no need to try and “fix” it

I have similar reasons, multiple machines and wireless devices that can see it, yet somehow I have not managed to get the iPad to AirPrint.

Wireless printing is a god-send. Four PCs/laptops and my iphone can print to it (although the android version of the app does not want to play) - haven't tried the Kindle yet.
