SOA, the last 5 seconds of the show is absolutely jaw dropping. Very pleased with how it ended.

**edit** Really felt like ep 10 did everything it needed to do. Just discovered there will be 3 more and can't explain how excited I am!!

I'm halfway through series 6

I know that there are fans of the show here, I haven't actually seen any of it at the moment (yes Carolyn, I know).
Luther to get a US remake

This is terrible news. They will NOT make it any better and it's not like they don't know Idris.

It won't be near the same without Ruth Wilson. I have a feeling she'd be rather shy of US remakes after the debacle that was the US version of 'The Prisoner'.

"This week's guests on Question Time include chief whip Michael Gove MP, Labour's shadow business secretary Chuka Umunna MP, Liberal Democrat MP Norman Baker, comedian and television presenter Jo Brand, and Daily Mail columnist Amanda Platell."

Jesus effing wept. Where's a terrorist when you need one?

So, here we are I to the first question. It's the standard immigration one, and the argument's got circular already.

Oh, yeah, it's coming from Romford.

Is it just me or has this series of QI been a bit 'off'? Though the recent episode was funnier.

The standard of guests has been a bit mediocre so far this series. This weekend's pair both have quite a dry humour, which suits the show IMO, so it worked a bit better. Plus at least this series they've given up with the gimmicky thing with getting Fry to do sub Blue Peter level scientific demonstrations. That got really old really quickly.

+1, there's also been a lot of talking over each other, though this might be more noticeable with me wearing headphones most of the time.

Gotham - Another decent episode! They've had to change characters' motivations slightly as it's the only way to get out of the morass, but at least it's figured out what to focus on. Now if it could just calm down with some of the more ripe dialogue and tropes (hit people in black leather!)... It's still flying close to the wind but so far it's getting better :)

Don't often comment on this thread but make an effort to see Richard Hammond's program tomorrow (Monday) on BBC1 at 9pm.

Starts on Mt Washington where I was a few weeks back. They have some really crazy weather there and the original weather station building is still there and it is chained down to stop it blowing away

The Flash - Another decent episode, although they really need to work on their fight scenes. There's also a character in it that the others should have absolutely no reason to trust at this point!

Oh, and ditch that AWFUL intro every episode - Arrow had something similar initially, and I understand why it's done, but this stuff's even cheesier than a comparative 80's intro!

Leftovers anyone? I'm up to episode 4 now.

Confusing me too much to know what I think of it.

If the book's anything to go by, I wouldn't bother. It's one of these character studies with no plot. It's the new Lost, basically.
