I love doing that. My mother loves to sprinkle a tiny amount of salt on apples once cored and quartered. I don't.

What's the name of the stuff you put in your car with the fuel to help clean the engine?
Also, does anyone recommend a good product for doing this for a diesel engine car.

I think it depends on the engine. Some will benefit. My sister's pug 207 gets treated to a full tank of v-power twice a year and she definitely notices a difference (I never told her what I'd done the first time and she wanted to know why the car drove better).
