So either they've got the worst vetting system ever or they're just publicity-seeking

Anybody know why an album would only be showing as 'Partial Album' on the iTunes Store?
I've checked my library and I don't have anything by this artist but it displays as partial in iTunes and there's not even a buy link (it is greyed out) and the drop-down only provides me with 'Tell a friend', 'Share on Twitter', 'Share on Facebook' and 'Copy Link'.

Sometimes they don't get the rights to all songs on an album for a region so can't sell all the songs

Ahh. Cheers man. I just checked the track listing on the CD over at Amazon, and there is one track listed there that isn't on the iTunes listing.
iTunes shouldn't be displaying it as an album if it is not actually sold as such.
Now I have to either spend twice as much buying each track individually or buy the CD which will be unwanted as soon as it is ripped.

Chevvy looking quite old there. Must have been quite some time since I last saw him in something.

Over the last 9 days I've certified 37 divers at various levels.

If you buy the CD from Amazon they give you the MP3 version as well so you don't even need to rip it

I've ordered three items from Amazon. Two were items I'd left in my basket from a previous midnight shop attempt a few weeks back and didn't go through with the order. I've added a third thing and processed the order. Now realised one of the previous items (a book) is out of stock and will need to wait a week (which means entire delivery is delayed).

Amazon used to give the option of either sending everything in one go or sending things as soon as they're ready. Has this option disappeared or do I need to dig through for it?

It depends where the items are coming from I think. If there are items that aren't actually being shipped by Amazon, it takes the option away as they can't group/ungroup things from different sources.

On a similar line, I ordered something Friday from Amazon with free super saver delivery. Expected delivery date was Wednesday. They tried to deliver it yesterday. Sunday. To my work address. Good grief.

They're supposedly sold and shipping by Amazon.co.uk with no third party involvement such as what happens in the Marketplace.

Chevy Chase

Quote:
Chase's paternal grandfather was artist/illustrator Edward Leigh Chase, and his great-uncle was painter/teacher Frank Swift Chase. His maternal grandmother was an opera singer who performed several times at Carnegie Hall. Chase is a fourteenth-generation New Yorker, and was listed in the Social Register at an early age. His mother's ancestors arrived in Manhattan starting in 1624; among his ancestors are New York City mayors Stephanus Van Cortlandt and John Johnstone; John Morin Scott, General of the New York Militia during the American Revolution; Anne Hutchinson, dissident Puritan preacher and healer; and Mayflower passengers and signers of the Mayflower Compact, John Howland,[6] and the Pilgrim colonist leader and spiritual elder of the Plymouth Colony, William Brewster
