Morning Start new job 12th March. It's all official now. Hopefully I'll get 2 lots of pay rises as it's pay review time  Was in at 7.30am today. Have done my Farmville, tidied desk, got rid of rubbish, put stock in cupboard, started activating a blackberry and done the filing. Onwards and sideways! Have a good one all. While out on a site visit I bumped into Sandi Toksvig (News Quiz / Excess Baggage on Radio 4 for the more philistine of the Formites) at a Bacon Butty stall
If I twittered and / or Facebooked I’m sure I would face “Twitterbooked” by now

Afternoon all, Making the final adjustments to my specialist conference paper before I submit. The deadline is tomorrow, and I need to expand on a couple of ideas whilst reducing the word count by about 400 words... Oh screw it, I'm going to make a cup of tea then get back to it. I've been ill since Thursday, struggled through Friday and spent most of the weekend in bed, bunged up, headache and sore throat... Off to the doc's for a sick note in a bit. (Here, you need a sick note from day 1 on, no self-certification).
