Morning/afternoon all.
On site finishing off a job then will probably have to go to another site to do some work over there.
Just finished ordering all the bits for my new media server:
Dual core 2.8GHz CPU (already got it)
2GB RAM (is only going to be a file store & TV card streamer)
5x 1.5Tb HDD's in RAID 5
Bluray/HD-DVD recorder
6x freeview tuners
3x freesat tuners
That should do nicely for storing movies & streaming TV around my house

Afternoon all.
Not had any sleep yet, managed to FUBAR my server at 11:30 last night. Spent all night fixing it as it's a pretty key point for my diss while I don't have the internet. Fixed it, I'm happy that I did it without just reinstalling. Knackered now!

Good evening. What a day. Busy at work and it appears that my Gran has fallen over and cracked her ribs.  Oh well, tomorrow is another day I suppose.

TP FTW Definitely glad it's Friday, it's felt like a long week, more so because the physio really isn't going to be some sort of miracle cure at all, despite it taking something like 30 minutes every day.

Lo peeps Happy Friday  ION - got my new (second hand) battery grip yesterday was swapping them over and stripped the plastic teeth on my own one  so it's back to Canon for a (no doubt) expensive repair  I hate myself sometimes....... Al

Morning all, went to emergency site visit to find out it's a photocopier that was at fault.
Having a quick coffee before getting back on the road for 2 site visits then a meeting.
Might try to spend the afternoon in the pub.

Have just got home (hungry and doing the sit-down-pee-pee-dance in my car) after waiting for the vampires at my local blood clinic to get to my number. I arrived at 09:00 and they called #30, I pulled my ticket out...#54. I got in to have my blood drawn at 10:30. When I arrived I thought I'd use the carpark near the clinic but it was £2.50 for an hour  I took my ticket, went into the clinic (on the off-chance it wasn't busy) but then left again and parked outside Asda Home and walked back to the clinic. Gods I'm glad I took a book, although I wasn't so glad on the walk back to the car as it was raining. Home for the day now with a house that needs to be tidied and cleaned, bedsheets that need changing and laundry that needs washing....first...TOAST!!
