In that case he was using it as a tool. In the last episode, it would have been used against a living being. That could just tip him over the edge, and I think he knows it.

I want to know where the gun is. The look on the mother's face says she kept it somewhere. Possibly in the van; in which case the hostage may have seen it. Who do we think will kill the hostage? The mother is the prime suspect, but everyone has a motive...

Who says that a hostage has to die. Remember in the dalek episode where we had the whole "one of your children, (companions) will die" malarky? Donna didn't actually die, did she...? I think they may well be playing mind games with us. Again

It was a full shotgun that got carried and placed on the front seats of the van. Together with a cricket bat and a tazer, plus other stuff. I'm more puzzled as to why a community of only half-a-dozen needs a tazer. Mark

Deep crust drilling - this would no doubt attract corporate funding and interests, and there would be security issues at stake - possibly the workers were issued with one as part of their personal protection plan. You don’t see much by way of genuine security in the area, so I would imagine that by the time this episode takes place that it is part of an employee’s contract to be part of the security force too.

Indeed. The doctor then told her to put it back, but we didn't see what she did next.

Depending on whether you like him as an actor or not, this might interest some of you: Read more: http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/ ... z0ortY65pUI'm wondering if that 'a' should actually be in there or not

Yeah, I know a sub-editor who quit when he couldn't make anyone see they were killing the paper by turning it into the Daily Fail. But then you only have to look at the tone of the BBC's online output to realise that seems to be the fashion...

I liked the Van Gogh episode Wasn't too keen on the previous 2 eps though. Bit dull, not much of a plot line until the last 5 minutes! Amazingly good series wide story though with the crack in the wall and now Rory's gone!!! Although Amy knows something is missing but can't quite think what it is.

Who is Rory? I thought that anything caught up in the crack gets wiped from the universe. In which case he never existed.
