I wait a couple of days then send an email or two. If there's still no response approaching a week I file a NPB with ebay and that normally works.

clickyHave they accepted the offer? You may also still be able to cancel it. But, yes, if they've accepted then contact them first.

It currently says "Awaiting Payment for 1 item", but the icons for checkout and payment are still greyed out. I'll leave it a bit more as it's only been 4 days.
Having read that article, it seems I have 60days to choose to use the 2nd Chance Offer, but they have 1,3,5 or 7 days to respond to it depending on what I set.
I swear I'm never going to get rid of this stinking book! (8-p)

Between ejecting discs from the PS3, turning on the Xbox via the controller and messing with the volume on the surround sound Emily has started to have a crack at this walking business. Where does the time go! http://www.facebook.com/v/450302667719*Flash required AFAIK

A second chance offer can happen instantly if the seller has more than one of them. Alternatively they could offer it up as much as a week later. I have not had a second chance offer for quite some time.

I was asking more from the point of view as a seller. My buyer doesn't seem to have done anything since bidding. I've sent an invoice-y message thing, so they should be aware they've won and need to pay me the monies!

Well I would give it a few days then offer it to the second highest bidder. If you have contacted the buyer and had no response in a couple of days check what terms you had on your page and stick to it.

Ah so has he actually accepted? I mean it turns up as a buy it now option for the person you offer it to.

Have you been visiting them with your balaclava and guns again?

Ummm. I'm not sure. I haven't offered it as a second-chance yet, I'm still waiting for the first person to do something. I just want rid of this damn book!

Ah, I see. I got one a while back on a GPU as the seller cancelled the sale to the highest bidder as they'd basically won 5 items in the past 6 months and then retracted all bids. Check on the winner's retraction rate, otherwise I guess you have to give them some time to pay. Not sure how long that is TBH.
