Morning all. Last day of my holidays  Lots of joyous mundane things to do. And it looks like I used about £90 of gas in December  , on the plus side none of the pipes burst while I was away. Have a great day folks.

Morning all. A number of companies to chase up today, but I'm a coffee short of full ass-kicking mode at present. Courseworks to do too. Hope your girlfriend's doing OK, Dave - I've missed a lot of news about people here recently, so just assume good thoughts are going your way if you need them.

Afternoon. At least I didn't freeze to death overnight (what with the central heating being knackered) but despite a British Gas repairman turning up very promptly we are still without heating. Tomorrow then.
Postman has just been....now that's what I call timely!

Morning all.
First day back at work today after travel issues yesterday. As I'm driving in a lorry driver decided to lightly shunt my car as a reward for my audacity of not letting him do whatever the hell he liked because he's in a big lorry. No damage done, but it merely confirms my opinion that lorry drivers have a sense of entitlement on the road that vastly outweighs both reality and their intelligence.

First day back at work. I'm meant to be digging up soil this afternoon so that should be fun what with the frozen ground and what looks like a fairly high chance of rain this afternoon.
