You don't drag items, when you are wearing chain mail gloves! That scratches the surface!

Usually, they just have buttons for things like "pustule", "calm, can be slaughtered", "male", "female", "class a", "class b" etc.

Use your nose instead. I doubt that will have chain mail or gloves.

LOL, I have done this before when wearing gloves in the cold

There are also gloves which can be used on touch screens so maybe put them on as well? ;)

When you are cutting thousands of pigs a day, you need some protection... These sort of gloves are standard issue on the slaughter lines and in the processing plant. Then they need to use touch terminals. The gloves are fine on touch - much better than using the knife!

We have received about 8 terminals back since October, where the user has killed the touch panel by stabbing it to death!

We make touch terminals in 15" and 19" versions, but we also have a few uses for tablets now, which we buy in.

For iPad and iOS fans I have just read my first issue of this.

Pretty good, learned loads of good stuff.

Picked up a couple of nice applications on the back of it.

:)

Tech demo

Someone running an iPad 2 racing game on a TV at 1080p resolution using the HDMI adapter mirroring. It's not GT5 but it looks pretty impressive...

Now I know that you are not missing the point. But it has to be said "you are missing the point".

This is an iPad. You do iPaddy things on it. And if you happen to own one you can also play some fairly nice games at a pretty reasonable cost (in this case £5.99). Maybe consoles still have a place but for some they have now become an unnecessary purchase.

Better than some offerings on the Xbox/PS2 I'd say...

I can now say that I have proudly bought an iPad 2 but will have till the end of April before I can actually get my hands on it. As for the Galaxy Tab it was a non runner for me from the start.
