Probably a good thing ;)

Yeah, with JV's face.

Isn't it you that does some sort of fighting thing...

So... there's a bloke... who gets punched... in the face... FOR FUN! making comments about my good looks! ;)

For what it's worth I'm actually really good looking in real life ;) :P

Whoa, I don't get punched in the face for fun, I do the punching! I move out of the way when punches are thrown. ;)

And of course, we're all really good looking in real life JV, just like we all drive Porches, own ten houses and a helicopter. ;)

I have a job interview tomorrow. It's 6 miles away, which doesn't sound far.

I just did a Google "by public transport" and one suggested route would take 10 hours 15 minutes. This involves 5 different buses going via Leicester over 40 miles away and probably costs over 9000.

I could walk it in a couple of hours :?

And, since nobody else has said it, good luck with the interview! :)

Thanks :)

I'll be getting a cab, if I can ever get through to on the phone. I've tried two local ones so far without any joy! I'm hoping it's less than £10 each way because I only have £20 in my pocket. I may simply walk home, just so long as I can actually get there on time

Give us a chance! Some of us were otherwise engaged.

Good luck, JJ!

Thanks guys. I'm now trying to decide if I should wear a suit or go smart-casual. I've only worn the suit once, and that was to propose. I think I kept it on for about 45 seconds, so it was pretty lucky that time

If I remember correctly, the original post had Zippy whinging that she'd burnt herself taking a teabag out of a cup, so a "caution, hot coffee is hot" warning probably wouldn't have helped much ;) :P

Teabags are supposed to be a good haemorrhoid treatment.

I imagine you're supposed to let them cool down a bit first though
