Morning all

Happy Friday, although I am working tomorrow.

Still, only happens once in a blue moon these days so it's more of a novelty than a pain.

Morning World!

Slight setback to recovery yesterday upon creation of an egg-shaped lump under one of my wounds. It was hard and quite painful and apparently full of serum. On antibiotics for the infection and the serum appears to be draining out of my belly button quite dramatically which is messy and gross! Spent yesterday in bed wondering if the chickens were going to get blown away, but they are all fine, appreciating the better weather today and the ducks have even come out of their house today which makes a nice change.

The cats are also making up for lost time by playing outside today, this is big relief for me as they have been driving me nuts for the past few days, like bored kids kept inside by the weather!

Morning all. IBM seem to have a particularly nice selection of teas available in their offices. Edd is impressed.

Morning all.

Fog appears to have lifted but that means we're on course for more rain this afternoon. Boo

Anyway, have a great day folks.

Today I shall be mostly washing the car/erecting tv wall brackets/installing new router and getting drunk :D Of course the order in which things take place may shorten the list considerably......

Morning all.

The in-laws are still here. I may not make it to the end of the day.

I take it as my first post in two years and two months (to the day, apparently. Cor.) this technically falls into the category of FPOTD? ;-)

How are we all keeping then? :-)

Also: Thanks Lev for reminding me I should pay a visit through the use some good, old-fashioned pedantry. ;-)

Two FPOTD-posts in a row!

Didn't hear the alarm clock. Matters little, still up. Time for tea, nicotine, and jump in to the freezer and hope that the engine gets some warmth in it pronto, before the condensation on the roof turns to rain. First week I've had a working heater since the engine swap. Can't wait to reap the benefits, but can't leave the car running to get it warm before I get in as it's a bloody noisy diseasil running through a very short exhaust.

Wonder if I can get some thermally insulated combats and wear them to work instead of the pathetic excuse for 'sensible office wear'? Power them off work's laptop or some such...

Right now, tea.

Laters folks.

8 glorious uninterrupted hours of beautiful, beautiful sleep. This for the first time in a very, very long time indeed as Oli finally decided to sleep through the night for maybe the fourth time ever. I'm a whole new woman.
