If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

This is one of the most enjoyable matches so far.

What's happening now? The French are refusing to train because of an argument between the fitness coach and Evra. On the back of that a French team director has resigned saying he's ashamed of the team.

Mental!

Italy 1 - 1 New Zealand

Well, Italy and France have made me feel better about being an England fan.

None of our players have gone home, none of our football directors have resigned and Italy draw their first 2 matches and have to win against Slovakia.

Thank you all. :D

Capello 'may quit if England fail to reach last 16'

Quote:
Despite now discussing the possibility of Capello's exit, the FA's hierarchy says it remains firmly behind Capello going into Wednesday's must-win match against Slovenia.

I'm sick of the media. Why not just wait and see what happens on Wednesday?

Quite.
I don't really see why the FA would accept his resignation anyway. It's patently obvious the players have bigger problems than who the manager is and it's not as if they'd have anyone better beating down their door anyway.

Brazilian forward handled the ball twice in the build up to their second goal...

They're having a 'get it all out in the open' night tonight. Sounds like the players also are of the mindset of 'just get Rooney up fron on his own with Gerrard playing in behind him like they do at their clubs'...

Oh and get Cole in.

I shall be very happy if those things happen.

It's all kicking off now.

Today has been full of WWE theatrics, starting with Italy.

What a shame the Brazil v Ivory Coast match had to fall apart at the end. Some appalling tackles by Ivory Coast that could easily have resulted in broken bones. And well done the Ivory Coast player who got Kaka sent off...acting like a sniper had picked him off with a headshot from the stands.

To be fair, Brazil aren't exactly able to claim the moral high ground in this regard.
