A lot of people do that here but in an office of 600 people I think they have enough on their plate with legitimate business packages let alone private stuff.

I'm sure there is at least one company in Oz charging staff to recieve personal goods at work, and many more demanding it shouldn't happen.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I'm not surprised. I reckon it's hell for them downstairs around Christmas time!

On another note we have gremlins in the office. Does anyone want them? They're causing havoc with the phones. Naughty grems!

You can keep 'em. They caused enough strife round here this past couple of weeks. ;)

My broken toe.

Stubbed it against a seat on the return trip from the reef today, waited a few moments for the pain to subside before having a look, see toe at abnormal angle away from other toes.

Perhaps it may only be dislocated, time will tell.

Poor Matt. Hope it's not the big toe. When that's out of action it's very hard to walk.

Lunch.

I was supposed to have the day off (hosp appt) but have to go in as it realised at the last minute that there weren't enough doctors about (despite them knowing I was off several weeks ago). Despite this, I got up later and had a lovely breakfast of boiled eggs on toast and leftover pastabake. I'm full but I know that by the time I get to work, I will be hungry some time during the afternoon. Given that I won't be home again until 7pm, I have to plan this. Eat too early and I'll feel sick. Eat too late and I won't be able to eat my evening meal at the right time. Since I've started eating earlier, and going to bed earlier, I feel much better.

I think I'll have a burger sandwich.

Very healthy diet for a Doctor. You don't lead by example then? ;)

Protein carbs and fat in breakfast. Nowt wrong with it.

I normally make/buy sandwiches for lunch but there's nothing at home to use.

Hmm. I see Apple are opening a retail store in Bromley, quite local to me. I'd consider applying for a job there if Bromley wasn't full of chavs.

Why are they opening a store in Bromley then?

Cos dem chavs 'ave got the cash to buy an iPhone and they've gotta 'ave the latest one, innit. I was in Vodafone in Bromley just an hour ago while my other half was sorting out details of her mobile contract. Got a serious headache now.

I suppose the nearest one is Bluewater. Mind you looking at their latest store list it looks like they're not really that fussy anymore

Going in to a shop for a phone? Can't remember the last time I did that - if ever. Hope the heads feels better soon.

Whether it's worth taking someone to the small claims court for £17.
I'll have to look into the fees. It may not be worth it.
