I'm sure loosing this 5p1CeGurl1984@BT.com will be hard but you'll recover ;)

New mac you say? Well we'll see.

And I'm told that the agreed rate was in $ not £. I call shenanigans! I'd agreed to do it for £80 less than the UK daily rate as it is!

Indeed. I still have an old F9 address from back before Plusnet bought them out.

Though my reason here is simpler.
Plusnet have always given me good service at a reasonable price.

Yep, my F9 address is still my primary email address - the unlimited email address variations are incredibly useful for spam traps etc..

The service has been very good throughout and the price is fair - most of the issues I've had have been line/exchange problems.

My interwebz boke last night. Might be fixed today as they've found a fault in the area rather than with my router.

The main reason I used to get to go to places like Scotland to teach was that the only way to connect the laptop's to the Internet was to tether them to a phone as there was no WiFi on site and I was the only teacher who knew how to do it.

I won't be volunteering to do that again ;-)

My Sister was on Newsnight last night, singing as part of the Military Wives Proms Choir and she got a close-up or two. We're going to see her at the Royal Albert Hall tomorrow for the full Military Wives Choir Proms performance. 8-)

The Kongs are great toys for dogs. We have small and medium ones for our dog.

I think some people just have dirty minds.

Personally I think whoever designed some of those toys was having a right laugh. One of my friends has one and says she keeps getting funny looks when out walking the dog.

It's entirely possible they had a production line built for one purpose then found demand wasn't quite what they'd hoped, so they repurpose the product for a different market...

Haha! That's tickled me

You're probably right. I can see them now scratching their head saying "so what the hell are we going to do with all these!"
