I used to work for the civil service. In all CS buildings there's a big sign on the wall as you walk in that tells you what the current threat level is. This wasn't M16 or anything (not that I'd tell you if it was, of course :)), I suspect every single government building has something similar. They take all this stuff pretty seriously.

my previous work contract had an exhaustive list of how much I would get if injured on the job, lost of one eye for example was 50k, both eyes 250k, a leg 150k etc. :lol: Grim!

Hehe working in Construction. I also had a life insurance, useful considering I once tripped on a safety wire on a 6th storey roof terrace without a ledge once, that would've hurt a lot more :lol:

Thankfully I have a good Death in Service payment as part of my Co Pension scheme so no need for seperate life Insurance
