So they upgraded our computers to Windows 7 (this is about a year after emailing tech support about what would happen once XP support ran out and received no response). Have a huge ass screen - 22" widescreen compared to the 19" standard LCD I had before this. Annoyed because my room was left in a mess so spent free time cleaning things up. Although I have Win7 at home, the Pro edition is very different with HUGE icons everywhere (even at the smallest icon setting).

Desktop scaling? Or just change the icon zoom level.

We recently got new Lenovo desktops and laptops in the office. Those who got desktops received a 22" screen, and those of us with laptops didn't.

The desktoppers thought that was highly amusing, until the gaffer let me order a 24" Dell IPS for my desk. :P

My laptop dock arrives next week.

It's really not going well if you then have to write a Ruby script to do it :)

I hope you find this headline from a local paper as worrying as I did:

"Paignton human centipede record bid back on"

My sister was being a cheeky bitch as usual, so now I've taught my nephew how to say 'Ding dong!'

Can I recommend that if you have a nice park near you that you use it? Especially before the weather gets really bad? The little change does you good if you haven't been in a while!

And you know what you camera bods are like... ;)

No parks around here, but lots of country walks. I go every day with the dog along the canal or river or in the woods.
