80's soundtrack tunes have never been bettered.

While there has been good music more recently I must confess that the 80's had so much good music we were spoiled for choice.

Editing wedding photos.
For a complete romance cynic like me, this is kind of weird.
It's like leeds_manc editing pictures of a right wing bible meeting.

Why, when I'm smoking shisha do my lungs act so oddly? If I breathe in some shisha first then some clean air, my lungs empty in the same order when I breathe out; clean air first and then the shisha smoke?! I didn't think lungs worked that way :?

Shisha are equivalent to smoking about 200 cigarettes in one sitting.

Smug friend has told me that he doesn't own a car, and that he can therefore look his son in the eye and say he did his bit to minimise climate change.
He was smug in school, and he's still smug.
I've pointed out I haven't set foot on a plane in over a decade, drive less than 4000 miles in a year and have no plans for kids - hence no responsibility for their carbon footprints.

Where's the smug smiley gone?

God damn smug people!

The enviroment is [LIFTED] up the ass by the Chinese and Americans worse than my tiny 1.8l 20v turbo contribution every day of the week - no matter how many miles I do. Besides, cars are cool. And essential down here.

I think that we should all do our little bit. Even if we do not have a direct stake in its outcomes ie in not having kids. That said in some parts of the country a car is essential.

Shisha are equivalent to smoking about 200 cigarettes in one sitting.

Really? I find that hard to belive. Regular tobacco gives me a high and then makes me throw up, but shisha doesn't.

Edit: just read the WHO report and it does indeed say that, however, it also says that shisha tobacco isn't burned directly like cigarette tobacco so the most harmful toxins aren't released due to the lower temperature.

Also shisha tobacco is often mixed with e.g. molasses which, combined with the lower temp makes for vastly different health implications.

Fudge. Mohanthal. Burfi. Halwa. Surti Ghari.

This weekend is going to be sweet, thanks to a magical gift of surprisingly difficult to source ingredient!

That since January I've lost a stone, tracked by my overpriced weighing scales (the Wii).

Secret? More exercise? No.

My new diet 'eating for one'. Works a treat. Eat anything but stop when you're full.

His son? If he was that serious about climate change he wouldn't be helping to increase the population of the planet.

I'd forgotten how conservative Yank network TV is:

Handled well, they could eventually steal cable's thunder :)
