I've been recording it on my HD Recorder. It's a wonderful wind down when I get back from work. Don't ever remember seeing a Sky Moo before.

Humans. Is it just me or is it really slow? I'm starting to get a bit bored with it. Not good, after one and a half episodes.

Not being able to comment on the second ep. as I'm working tonight so I'll not get to watch it until tomorrow (when I'm not working), but the first episode pacing reminded me greatly of the first season of Utopia. I'm starting to really dig the fact that TV shows are starting to go against the fast ADD pace of what mainstream cinema seems to be doing more and more of. The Fall was slow and steady, as was S1 of True Detective, Utopia (already mentioned) and now Humans. In the first ep I was a little disappointed that we got so much backstory of the characters, I would have preferred to find that stuff out this week, and just have the first story present the world to us on the superficial, then start delving in to the backstory. Still, I'm looking forward to catching up with the show tomorrow. Mark

Never could stand slow TV, there's no need for it in the timeframe given. It's different if things are being slowly revealed but pacing is key - there's too many better shows otherwise.

The presupposition here is that because it is deliberately paced at a slower speed than 100MPH, it is somehow inferior in quality. This simply isn't so. Mark

It's not just the speed that is starting to annoy me, it's the fact that not a lot seems to happen. I am fully expecting a term minute scene where it's just someone eating a sandwich. Or maybe making a cuppa.

The quality can be hanging out of it, but it's for nothing if your brain keeps wandering off.
