Actually, it kicks in slightly before the phone rings, but yes.

That's ace. Mine does that normally anyway, but it's kinda groovy you have a TARDIS on your desk (or wherever it is) that does it for you.

Oops - didn’t read the description. The one I have is much taller than 3 inches - about the height of 2 AA batteries.

I also have a mobile phone TARDIS “charm” which flashes blue and spins around inside a small transparent holder when the phone rings.

There is also the tiny police box (as sold by Hornby) for my N gauge train set.

I couldn't tell from the advert that it wasn't a perfect, solid metal, working replica. The only clue is the weight, but 118g sounded about right to me.
