Poor you. I got the ruler out on the outside table last night, 17cm in 2 days and it was still snowing.

No snow yet today, won't be long though. :D

It looks like a big icing cake out there.

In a way, I'm pleased we're not getting any snow.

We've stocked up a bit with food and stuff, so we're okay for a few days if it does hit. But I'm just happy to not have any just now.

Funny how the news report it in shock & awe style. They were quickly skipping over the fact that there are no major disruptions on the roads and all the airports are still open. :D

Probably do a supermarket run today, main roads not too bad after ploughing and gritting. Just have to dig the car out first. :D

I'm cut off, but my car still has two coats of wax intact. Gritters don't come out this far. Have to time my shopping runs at 14:00-15:00 though!

The stuff that's lying in our area is some snow but mostly hailstones. It's light, fluffy stuff not great for sledging but it's at least white. Photo time :D

No gritters in our residental area yet but main roads passable. I'll lay some bets though that the school is closed tomorrow because some of the teachers can't get in

The snow we had yesterday has all either gone or turned into pretty solid ice.
The big pond out the back of my building at work is almost completely frozen over though. Hopefully there will be some ducks trying to land on it at some point, always good for a laugh.

Yesterday, our forecast said to expect snow during the night and throughout Sunday.

Nothing.

It's cold out, but it's calm, dry and lacking white.
