Although I'm a fan of sweet pies over savoury ones, for some reason, mince pies just don't appeal to me. The last time I tried was about four years ago. I bit into one and promptly spat it back out.

Is there anything Christmasy you do like?
I'm finding it difficult to think of anything.

I know most here might think that this is just all an act on my part, but it's really not.
I genuinely find it difficult to think of anything about Christmas that I like.

Trust me - I know how you feel.

I'm not overly fond of Christmas either - even with the kids. I struggle to do the office Crimbo lunch and just can't bring myself to partake in the 'secret santa' debachle. I suffer Christmas day itself and usually bury my head in a bottle of something fairly early on and fall asleep on the couch with the wife and kids.

There is one thing I like about Christmas though - the Queens speech. She always looks so miserable it makes me feel good about myself.

Since I got with the GF 10+ years ago Christmas is much better Finnish style. Food and presents on Christmas Eve, was a bit weird at first, but it means you get a good lay* (in) ( :D ) and basically have a double boxing day.

Much more chilled.

* not just reserved for christmas lol

It's all in the context.
Track down the original place I made the comment and you'll see that the context answers that question. (8+)

I couldn't decide the best order for my sigs to imply cause and effect, but both ways round (oh aye, nudge nudge, wink wink) kind of works.
