Oh My God Professor F, That's like a really cool song, yo. Reminds me of being 15. Picture: bus to school: (crackily, first generation MP3 player, portable speakers cranked up to LOUD) I'm blue dabadeedabbaadie, dabbadee dabba dye, dabba dee dabba dye.

I'm sorry I really am but I'm going to have to have you slung in gaol for crimes against humanity. It's for the common good. I'm sure you understand. Jon

+1, and I'll add Ke$ha, The BEP, and anything that involves an AutoTuned [LIFTED] banging on about 'the club' and 'the DJ'... Actually, pretty much any pop song from the last ten years has had lyrics that should never have been written, never mind 'sung'

I guess that song is like Marmite. I remember another forumite expressly detested it some years ago (Nick?), but it's one of my favourites. I like it primarily because of one video; an AMV featuring Sailor Mercury clips edited by Aluminum Studios. It was one of his earliest works, and it totally mesmerized me. Needless to say Ami is my favourite Sailor Senshi because she's cute, intelligent (IQ = 300) and her magical power is "bubbles" which cause "confusion". The quality is low because it pre-dates the Pentium processor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZRBxgYOX_oAnother song I love purely because that same guy made me listen is "Blue Monday". I expect half of you hate that too. I'm sorry to interrupt the thread, but I mostly remember songs I really like!! It's a waste of brain space remembering the crap. My office manager really hates Gaga, specifically the bit from the rather excellent "Bad Romance" that goes "Rah Rah, ah ah ah. Romo Roma Ah. GaGa Ooh LaLa". She says it sounds like lazy baby talk. I just think it sounds classical, like the coloured girls going Doo do doo. I'm planning on changing her ring tone to it. That will teach her some bloody culture. She's so prejudiced. Typical bloody German lol.

I'm another that can't stand Gaga and her 'Look at me, I'm an attention whore' antics, let alone her music. The sooner she disappears entirely up her own fundament the better.

Did I say they were my portable speakers? No they were owned by some showy rich kid on the back row, the type who could afford those new Sony flip phones. I appreciated the music though.

I've been listening to the radio in work a lot this weekend, but I still haven't heard the new song that I don't like, but in light of other posts, this one comes to mind... Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell, you know you make me want to... I have no idea what comes after that as I've normally turned it off or walked out of the room by then.

SHOUT! Lulu's first hit, in 1964.
