In which case, you've far too much money and should've just bought an RS4 in the first place! £1000 on brakes for road use is overkill IMHO. The V GTI brakes are hardly crap.

The difference between the standard MK5 brakes and the MK5 R32 brakes is immense. It's like the brake equivalent of a remap.

I know. But having spent all that money, you could've bought a better car in the first place. Dubbin' ain't what it used to be. You wanna spend money like that, you should buy a Lancer Evo or a Skyline and get 1000bhp out of it!

I was gonna say "I bought a £20k car, and have put a total of £4-5k on to it max" but then I looked up the price of a second-hand RS4 and was like Surprised that they fetch such low prices.

Defence rests, your honour. Anyway, it's your life and your car (and it's a lovely car ) so you fill your boots. Coming at the discussion with a £3500 Skoda, I can't really talk

Well I need new discs, pads and tyres for the rear of my car.
Gonna cost a bomb. They also questioned who fitted my front brakes (done 6 months ago for the MOT) which makes me think I'm not going back to that garage again.
Arse! Why are cars so fricking expensive?! £370 for the MOT 6 months ago and now this!

If you want cheap, you need a Ford. If you want it to last, stick with your T-Sport And I'm telling you, go to a Jap specialist and get OE bits fitted. You'll thank me in the long run...

Mine's not. I've necessarily spent money on tyres, discs & pads, oil, filters, a handbrake adjustment and an MOT so far. I've spent a bunch more money on a small but growing collection of optional extras and spares that I'll get around to fitting soon, and various cleaning things. Buy an IROC instead. You know you want to. Something like this would be fine.

I'd love to have a car like that. Just bout the Haynes manual for my car I'm not paying almost £200 to have the brakes replaced which is what the quotes are. I can buy the parts for £80 and I can borrow the tools.

FInd a Toyota forum and post up asking for specialist techs in your area. You're hardly in the middle of nowhere, so somebody should know a good place. Outside of that google Jap specialists. Then get them to fit it properly for you. OR Start the slow transformation into one of these people that likes to fiddle with cars at the weekend (mentioning no names)

Given the exclusivity of such a car, no.
