I guess the one exception is cricket, afterall it's the English & Wales Cricket Board and we often have players from most of the other nations mentioned there.. :D

Including South Africa. :D

Indeed. No kiwis though.

Speaking of which there seem to be about 4 more All black sides spread out amongst the other nations in the RWC. :D

Are you referring to the teams' penchant for black away kits, or the popularity of former Kiwis in their line-ups? We've got a couple, although they shifted across the Tasman as young fellas, so they've probably lost the accent by now.

So, thoughts on the upcoming weekend's matches? A couple of upset wins and there'll be a very different looking knock-out phase to the one we were probably all expecting.

If Scotland manage to get in over England by 8 points and Argentina get a bonus point against Georgia, the boys in white (or black, depending on the day) will be flying home. And if the Italians upset the Irish by 8, and Australia dispose of Russia, the Irish will be on the same flight back. Personally, I don't think either is likely, but it's keeping interest in the pool stage right to the end.

None at all. :) If the Scots do put the boot into the Poms, I'll be up at 5.30am Sunday to watch the Argentina match.

And of course, I'll be backing an Italian win. Apologies to any Ireland supporters.

I don't. :D

My mum just phoned and asked how long it would take me to explain the game of rugby to her. She says she hasn't a clue what's happening, but she's loving every second.

I dare to dream. Come on Scotland!

As ever Scotland win a few battles and lose the war.

Seriously, if they'd have gotten up for the Argentina match like they did for this they'd have no problems whatsoever.

Hardly.

England have been very ordinary so far - they're going to have to lift their game when they get to the pointy end of the competition. (Assuming they aren't on a plane next weekend.)
