didnt think frenchun was fat, all normal sized girls think they are so I will consider you a stereotypical girl ;)

didnt think edd was fat too, pics of both suggest u look "normal"

I hardly do any exercise as im lazy, I can still run and cycle for miles ironically, Im thinking its the chips and cheese thats done this too, very addictive chips and cheese :(

saw a girl I went to archery with and I doubt she will speak to me again, she was saying that "she has belly" but she isint fat and I said "I think all girls are meant to be spongy in that general area incase they get pregnant" and she had the most awkward nervous laugh ever

Whatever you do - don’t eat it all at once.

Technically you're right mate, women are 'designed' to have a slight stomach.

Technically you're right, tactically you're so wrong.

This is a timely thread...

I have spent the last month living four nights a week in a Hilton Hotel (piece of advice: business internet is like a piece of toilet paper, once tried you are better off not using it again). Its actually a major nuisance as my daily food habits are:

Morning buffet (2 hash browns, creamy scrambled egg, mushrooms, a waffle and a large smoke salmon roll is standard).
Lunch Time (subsidised cafe, large hot meal evey day + yoghurt for a desert).
Afternoon snack (either sugary or crisps, depending on energy needs).
Evening meal (another buffet at the hilton, this time just a massive carvery, roast stuff and usually three stacked plates of food including curries and stuff).
This doesnt include a usual two pints of alcohol a day as well at some point.

I reckon I must have put on about a stone.... kind of wierd trying to find that nonexistent space in your trouser waist line. Fortunately I am moving into an apartment soon :)

I'm 84Kg and only 1.8m tall. I like to visualise that as an extra 10Kg of lard moulded onto my torso. It's a lovely image.

My belly suddenly appeared sometime in my late 20s. It coincided with having a lunch allowance that just paid for a "large happy meal and an apple pie please", but perhaps the 1000 or so burgers I ate over two years were just incidental.

I've not eaten any "fries with that" for well over 10 years but the weight is still with me. I think once you've put it on, it's much harder to lose it than it is to keep it off in the first place. I actually have a very healthy diet these days, apart from the liquid supplement... If I were to quit drinking (alcohol or fizzy pop are as bad as each other) I could maybe shake it off over a year or so.

It wouldn't hurt to work out more, apart from the pain. Like many people I used to be much fitter when I was younger. However, my bad joints now mean that most exercises can be quite debilitating.

I walk every day. However, over the last couple of years small aches in my legs and feet have started to get worse. I’m getting old. As long as the asthma is held at bay, I’ll be happy. I don’t want to be anchored to an oxygen bottle.

I'm 6'1" and just managed to get down to the same weight a few weeks ago.

I'm now "officially" just inside the "normal" weight BMI band.

Although, I don't hold out much faith in that BMI thingy.

Charts of weight v height can never be more than the vaguest of indicators. I think most people know that thin people with no muscle can be even more horribly unfit than obviously fat people.

Very little of my weight can be attributed to muscle these days
