Not much better IME, give Dolphin a go, see what you make of that :) (though I'm on a tablet for what it's worth).

I need to root my Xperia Pro - the sh1tty bloatware has to go. What's the safest, quickest way of doing it please? :)

I'm thinking once rooted I'll use ES File Explorer to remove the 'system apps' like Facebook

I've got an awesome new keyboard.
Touch Pal
It's free, there are no adverts and you type by swiping rather than tapping. It's brilliant.

Samsung (on the G2 andG3 maybe others) has the swipe input method allready there. Just need to enable it and its all goood to go.

Yeah, recent convert on my Note. Thought it was gay, and I've NEVER used any kind of predictive text on any phone ever. I always wanted to be able to write what *I* wanted, not what the phone suggested.

However, it works really rather well and is probably 98% accurate. Plus it's REALLY quick.

I did try the Swipe (branded) keyboard on my phone before Touch Pal. The 15 day free trial worked fine, but when I paid for the full version, it didn't work at all. I got a refund and went looking for a different app. That's when I found Touch Pal.
Sure it lacks a few features of Swipe, but I never would have used those features anyway. All I wanted was a tap-less keyboard.

Removed Chrome for Android Beta over the weekend, my battery life (in stand-by) went from 14 hours to over 2 days light use... :?

According to the Android 4.0 battery monitor, Chrome used 53% of the battery, even though I hadn't used it that day.

Need an Android print app if anyone has any ideas, ideally something that'll work with both phone and tablet. Doesn't need to be fancy :)

Don't know, it was never any slower than Internet (included browser). The bonus was bookmark syncing with my desktop.

That I probably use the browser on my phone a couple of times a week on average probably isn't a big recommendation though.

Slider widget by hinterhofapps . Works a treat since the physical volume buttons on my Desire have stopped working. Let's new do volumes, brightness etc via a widget without me having to delve through the settings.

Firefox is no longer diseased on my tablet at least since it's been updated, maybe give it a go if you ditched it before ;)
