Not for me, I'll be in Aber on the 15th/16th August I'm afraid.

The week before would be more convenient for me. As I will be in Bedfordshire from the 26th of July to the 9th of August

I'm still able to provide a floor for people to sleep on if they have to travel down for the event.

Joe

So, is it the 8th or the 15th?
I do not want to go to the expense and hassle of going to London if nobody else is.

At least 5 people can successfully occupy a table in a pub.

It's still the 8th. We're fine for numbers providing people still come down.
Pub sounds good.

I'm going down to my dad's house for the next 2 weeks with no real agenda other than off road biking.

If anyone needs a stop off point or a floor to sleep on I'm more than happy to provide. I myself will be coming down on the train from Bedford station to St Pancras. Could we agree on a train station for all those coming by train as a primary meet up point before we all head off to the pub.

Hope to see you all there, Joe.

Well I arrive into Kings Cross so if you want to meet up then I'd suggest the Kings Cross/St Pancras underground station. However, it might be better to designate a central starting pub as that way people coming from opposite directions will all have roughly the same distance to travel once they get to the capital.

I'd suggest a Sam Smiths pub (for the cheap beer). I've been to The Glasshouse Stores before and it's not bad. Can be a bit cramped if it's busy though.
The are a fair few Sam Smiths pubs in Soho clickey. Open to other suggestions but I guess we should nail it down fairly soon.

Count me in, providing I'm not on-call that weekend.

Oooh, and I wouldn't mind a bed/sofa/floor/shed if someone's got a bit of room.

I've got a bed for you blue. Although I'll have to leave around 6pm for babysitting duties.

Thanks Sas, that'd be great, and don't worry, I'm always up for a bit of babysitting. ;)

O do stop.

I would like to once more recommend a Farringdon meet up:
The station is easily reachable from all London stations (it runs Thameslink, Metro, District, Circle & Jubilee lines)
It is the epicenter of London (it's near equidistant to the West End, City & East End)
The immediate locality of decent pubs & bars to the station provide early-shows an easy & painless place to wait for late-stragglers without requiring massive telephone direction.
The subsequent locality of many more decent pubs & bars is bewildering - and will/can cater for any size/style of group.
...and yes, because I'm lazy. ;)
