I've spoken recently with someone who works as a PA in Los Angeles and she said that it was common knowledge there. Apparently Jessica Alba was one such interviewee and Cameron Diaz was auditioned but quickly made her excuses and left. When I asked why people go in for this cult, she said that there's quite a few Scientologists in important positions in Hollywood and that's one of the reasons why people who you'd think would have more sense get involved.
