method with my graphics card, but that was more to do with the case (£11.99 of sheer quality) than the PCI-E slot, and I was very careful (ish) :shock:

Well, fair enough but I presume you weren't actually trying to put it in backwards.

I did have a duff PCI slot in my old G3 mac into which no card would slot, well none of the ones I tried anyway. Just as well there two other spare ones to play with really.
