It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.
Life is nothing without the people in it.
Will edit this as I think of them!

"Yes, yes, yes, I do see that there is a real dilemma here. In that, while it has been government policy to regard policy as a responsibility of Ministers and administration as a responsibility of Officials, the questions of administrative policy can cause confusion between the policy of administration and the administration of policy, especially when responsibility for the administration of the policy of administration conflicts, or overlaps with, responsibility for the policy of the administration of policy." - Sir Humphrey Appleby, Yes Minister.

Anyone seen the film Kenny? It's an Australian mockumentary about a portaloo installer and absolutely jam packed full of classic one liners. Here's a few:
Kenny: This is the busiest time of year, this is a crazy time, it just goes bonkers. It's as silly as a bum full of smarties.
Kenny: Busier than a one-armed bricklayer in Baghdad.
Kenny: [advice on getting married] Cut out the middle man; find someone you hate and buy them a house.
Kenny: Mad as a Clown's cock
Kenny: People freak out, coz they think I’m handling the stuff. I dunno if they think I eat it, or whether they think I scrub it on myself... I plumb it.

I saw it whilst travelling in Australia. I think we watched it in a coach going from Alice Springs out to Cairns. Also saw Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

Donald Rumsfeld was always good for a laugh "There are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns - the ones we don't know we don't know. " "Osama Bin Laden is either alive and well or alive and not too well or not alive. "
