IIRC Daredevil didn't have any special powers but was blind.

Well... it's neatly summed up at Wikipedia - better than I could do ;) :

Quote:
Although blind, the character's remaining four senses function with high levels of superhuman accuracy and sensitivity, giving him abilities far beyond the limits of a sighted person. Due to his lack of sight, Daredevil developed a radar sense.[34] This radar sense has a function similar to echolocation. However, as Daredevil's other senses are stronger, they are also sensitive; his main weakness is his vulnerability to powerful sounds or odors that can be used to temporarily weaken his radar sense.[35] This weakness is often used to immobilize Daredevil if he were bombarded by too much sound, which will cause him great pain and disorient him.[36] Due to the fact that Murdock's sensory organs have a superhuman level of development, his inner ear, which controls the equilibrium and motions of the body, is also preternaturally developed.[citation needed]

When Frank Miller expanded most of Daredevil's abilities, he attempted to make them "extraordinary enough to be exciting, but not on par with Superman", noting Superman's distinctly unbelievable powers.[34]

Other than Bat Man, have you seen any super hero films where the main super heroes don't have any powers?

The Punisher.

Steel (never ever watch that film  ):

My work mate just pointed me in the direction of this trailer. I don't know about you (heck, with the recent discussions of films you probably couldn't give a stuff what I think!) but I'd really quite like to go and see this film.
There's another very NSFW trailer here.

We suspect that the UK release date will closely mirror the planned US release on April 16, but we'll bring you confirmation of that as soon as we have it.

From Empire magazine in November there...

That looks pretty entertaining, I might have to hobble down to the cinema to see it.

I bought the book yesterday and just finished it now.

Don't bother... it's crap.

The film was a million times better in almost every way. The dialogue, the back story, the costumes, the action, etc... everything about the film was better than the book.

I take it you mean the graphic novel? I saved a quid cancelling my Amazon order and going through Play :)

Yeah.

YMMV but I didn't really get on with it.

I haven't read many graphic novels so it could be the fact that I needed to "appreciate" it in a different way or something but I really loved the Watchmen graphic novel.
