90% of the British population ARE English. As for the BBC glorifying it when England win...is BBC Wales not guilty of exactly the same thing? The coverage of the England v Wales game was dire. Yet 'lo and behold you'd think the Welsh team could walk on water after their last-minute victory against Scotland. I seem to remember the Welsh previously making a big thing about beating an under-performing English side. This time the grand slam is ours and we will be just as jubilant as Wales were in 2008 when we rub it in the other home nation's faces. Also, bring Euro 2012, I'm looking forward to England beating Wales in the group stage too.

Since when do BBC Wales get to cover the games? We've got to put up with a bunch of English idiots and a token Welshman. As for 2012, sure, its a sport you actually care about, plough billions of pounds into yet still haven't won the world cup since 1966, preferring to lose to countries that only occasionally have shoes and running water. We have 3 football teams to pick from...is it any big shock we don't do very well??

They're making hard work of it against Italy. In all honesty, France will kill them - I hope.

We played very poor, but England still needed a 1-man advantage to make any progress. As soon as we were back up to 15 men we ran in two converted tries. God I hope France tear them a new one.

Well, what a to-do. Right, where to begin... Wales v England - That was a much better England performance all round but, if AWJ wasn't stupid, I think it's fair to say that Wales would have won the match. He was stupid though, a yellow card is a yellow card, and cost his team dearly. As a Scot (admittedly living in England), I will be hoping for an England win against France, the only team I wish to see beating them is obviously Scotland. Though, on the strength of today's performance, I would think it is highly unlikely they will overcome France. France do look like they will take the championship, if not the grandslam, even at this early stage. England will have to play at least as good as they did against Wales, for the full 80 minutes, if they are to beat the French. Of course, the French "A" team will have to show up and not choke, which is something they are prone to at least once in every 6N. Going back to today's effort, a repeat performance in either match could see Ireland and/or Scotland beat England. Talking of repeat performances, if the Scots can reproduce and extend yesterdays performance to the full 80, then they are a serious challenge in all their remaining matches. Heres hoping.

Absolutely. The Scottish played really well yesterday. They made very few errors and completed moves where it mattered, it was just indiscipline at the end that was there undoing.

Agreed. As I said, a yellow is a yellow. There is some doubt over the validity of the yellow against Godman, but it doesn't really matter now. I was completely gutted after the match, but it was a thrilling encounter and the one of the best Scottish performances I've ever seen.
