Have you thought about them possibly deducting the correct amount for the camera from your card?

They can't do that. They have two choices - go through with the sale as documented at the time of sale, or not go though with the sale. Anything else would technically be a new contract and they couldn't implement it without your permission.

Well, they could do it, but then every cc company they charged would probably refuse to deal with them from them on, which would be very bad for their business I'd have thought.

I ordered one.

OK it's highly unlikely they will honour it, but it's worth a shot.

[edit] In the unlikely event they do honour it, I most certainly will not be selling it. Although I might sell my Fuji bridge camera. :D

None in stock
That's very recent because they were in stock when I made my order.

Play have it on pre-order - not released until 24th March. Dabs site says April 2010.

So, they have a month to realise their error and correct it before shipping. :(

If it was in stock when you ordered, you could be a very lucky chappie indeed.

I'm giving it a go. Using the credit card just in case it goes tits up. On the Dabs T&C it says;

"In the unlikely event that the price shown on the checkout page is wrong, and we discover this before accepting your order, we are not required to sell the goods to you at the price shown.We will contact you and give you the option of amending your order or cancelling it."

When is the order 'accepted' then?

Usually when they take your money, some say it's only when the order is shipped but it''s difficult to prove you didn't accept an invitation to treat when you have the buyers money also, money is usually taken just before it's shipped

When these emails start coming in is anyone going to fight the good fight or just bow out gracefully?

I'm going to be politely cheeky and fight the good fight to see where it gets me. (8+)

Up to £999 now. Unfortunately i wasn't able to check on the forum over the weekend. I've a friend who may well be interested in one, if any of you get lucky and want to sell it.
