I use it to scan barcodes into Delicious Library...that's about it. I have iChat but there's never anyone on it.

I have a proper barcode scanner for that. Very handy.

Laptop webcams are stupid. You ave to keep moving the screen to get yourself in shot. I tried it once, and only once.

Huh?

I generally find that if I can see the screen, the camera can see me. Are you sure you didn't have it set to zooom mode or something?
