Arrrgghhh!

Practice meetings historically happened on Thursday lunchtimes. Normally done and dusted by 1pm but caused issues with people turning up late eg after visits. So it was put forward to 9am. Perfect. Done by 10am. Everyone had patients so pressure to avoid overrunning.

Then some bright spark wanted nurses at the practice meeting. God knows why. I've been in five practices and none of them ever had anyone other than the docs and practice manager. So now, to accommodate the nurses, the meetings went back to Thurs lunch time.

Which annoyed me but typically I'd leave by 1pm.

Except this week, they're bringing someone to showcase some new referral scheme. It will take place AFTER the meeting. That means being there until 2pm, potentially up to 3pm. And if I bugger off, I know they're all gonna get screwed cuz no one is IT savvy enough.

I'm essentially employed till 1230.

The best thing to do would have been to have the showcase on a separate day.

Replacement laptop keyboard arrived in a worse state than the one it was meant to replace.... thanks Royal Fail!

Now got to wait for the seller to sort out a replacement one which will probably delay being able to sell it until close to Christmas :(

Christ on a Boris bike, Sony, it'd be nice if a simple PSN log-in failure didn't mean having to reboot the PS3 to have another go :x

You are right.

Just in case you hadn't heard, a report on the radio stated that was what the UK's top bankers were expecting to be paid this year.

How the fudge do you get the bbc iplayer to download in the background in ios7?

If I want to download a show, I have to open up the app and download it and cannot do anything else eg text or it stops downloading until i reopen the app. On the other hand if I'm watching a download already, it will download the next item in the queue.

My sister has cooked yet another rancid 'meal' - my door's closed and I can still fcuking smell it. There's an excess of garlic in it, but even that can't be creating this stench...
