Suspect you mean it was ruptured. Very lucky she survived. In my experience, it's often misdiagnosed as back pain (by doctors and by paramedics), or patients die before they reach the operating table. Hope she makes a speedy recovery.

She's making a good recovery as I have a couple of days off from visiting so friends can go and see her. Thanks for all your good wishes. I was told that and it was very touch and go and worrying but fingers crossed she's over the worst now. _________________Still the official cheeky one
