The Camaro runs (when new, but it's been lightly refreshed in my ownership) 230bhp, but 330 torques. I've been stopped once for being a bit lively while going up a hill on the way to work. Keeping it at sensible speeds isn't that hard, you just let it roll along more or less. The turbo'd Audi I was loaned during some work was more of a licence loser because that just wanted to keep running and running. But again, a light right foot keeps things civil, and like Dave, 0-30 or 0-60 is a lot of fun. The Camaro's actually a lot of fun in the corners - it'll romp round some that modern cars I'm either following or leading have to lay off for.

Standard, American cars have big, underdressed engines, which aren't that powerful (for their size, compared to the compact European and Japanese motors) but last a long time. They can be tuned a lot though.

Mouth looks a bit Renee Zellweger, but no idea other than that.

With all-you-can-eat buffets, I tend to try one item of things that appeal and then go back for more if it's okay. I guess there must be people piling their plates with food and then dumping half of it.

Depends. For the period, it was pretty decent. It was more than the BMW M3, the Maserati 222, and the Ford Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth of the same year. Bhp is only part of the story though - the torque's the fun bit.

just had first graders in uniform walk around my office . Odd how that's ok in engineering. Do they also take them around call centres/ MaccyD #sarcasm?

I'd imagine they're being led round in the hope that some of them might develop some kind of interest in engineering. Although if it was me - and no disrespect to the job you do or anything - I'd take them to see some of the cool stuff that engineers make and do, because an engineering office kind of looks a bit like any other sort of office, in the main. I guess if you can't get to NASA or a Concorde exhibit...
