I don't like peanut butter by itself, but it's a fantastic ingredient. I find it dry and clogging on it's own. The simplest edible recipe is just to add marmalade. It also melts nicely in hot sandwiches, and of course it makes an instant satay sauce. Finally, I love it in sweets, chocolates and biscuits. Peanut butter cookies done correctly are a melt-in-mouth and go to heaven experience. I could probably write a sizeable peanut butter cookbook

I use it to make Satay Sauce and while I like peanuts I don't like Marathons (snickers) but happy to eat M&M@s and other chocolate covered peanuts - its a funny old world isn't it

I can understand not liking Marathons, probably because of all the other ingredients like caramel. With M&M's or their predecessor Marvel they are simply chocolate and peanut.

Had tapas last night. Dates wrapped in baked almonds, then bacon, then fried. Omnomnomnomnom.

Look they might have changed the name but I still prefer Marathon and Opel Fruits.

Opel is a car company. FWIW I enjoy Snickers though Marathon was a better name.
