Odd how that's ok in engineering. Do they also take them around call centres/ MaccyD #sarcasm?

I'd imagine they're being led round in the hope that some of them might develop some kind of interest in engineering. Although if it was me - and no disrespect to the job you do or anything - I'd take them to see some of the cool stuff that engineers make and do, because an engineering office kind of looks a bit like any other sort of office, in the main. I guess if you can't get to NASA or a Concorde exhibit...

We have a lot of drawings and mock ups all over so it is fairly interesting, but definitely I'd couple it with a visit to a cool building.
They have some engineering based games now in the meeting room downstairs

Final teaching session. Finished. Paperwork. Sorted out and given to my boss, to do with as she pleases.

Goodbye and good luck to The Manchester College. A new challenge awaits...

Lord Falconer says he has lost five stone on Diet Coke and apples

I always think people who have lost weight look worse. I can't help thinking he'd be better on the tea or coffee than the DC for what he wants, but then I don't even drink tea much.

Didn't even know they made them. Or not, as it turns out.

If I remember them correctly, Cadburys used to make them out of pretty low quality chocolate (yes, even compared to their normal stuff). Wouldn't surprise me if people have started going off them.
