Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. really only holds interest for me because of the Coulson character, I do wonder what the USP of this new show will be.

There was an Avengers 'one shot' IIRC called Most Wanted, basically a collection of their villains. It led to a bizarre short-lived toy line. That would be either the best idea ever or the worst... SHIELD also has it's most wanted list in the comics, but that's even less likely since Fox and Sony would be lawyering up at a rate of knots.

My best guess is Cap 3 will be integral to it, so maybe the villains who are still running around during or after all the Civil War fighting. Especially since SHIELD seems to be building towards one of their other upcoming movies...

Ben McKenzie Explains Where 'Gotham' Went Wrong (character spoilers, like all of 'em)

He's not wrong, but it's obvious they never had any real clue where they were taking the show from week to week, villains or not. And as the article points out, they're going villain mad next season.

There used to be a TV show of Huck Finn and friends, the link for the new show isn't working for me at the moment, but I suspect they will be very different shows.

I spotted that Gotham S1 has appeared on Netflix now.
I'm in no hurry to add it to my list.

I don't know when this was actually posted but it talks about a JMS panel during SDCC 2015.
He mentions a 'decades old' ITV show that he's working on (or at least in talks with).
I initally jumped to conclusions and thought Blake's 7, but that was a BBC show.
What channel did Sapphire & Steele air on?

I thought Sapphire and Steel was BBC too, but I might be wrong. Maybe someone's looking at rebooting Space:1999!

ITV, Google says. I've only ever seen it mentioned, never caught so much as a clip.

Stephen Amell On Why Batman Hasn't Come to Arrow | Comicbook.com
http://comicbook.com/2015/08/22/stephen ... -to-arrow/

It can't happen while Gotham is on the air, really, apart from any other issues. They've even said a Batman character they introduced won't be appearing again since they're now in the Suicide Squad film :( . Though there has been repeated mentions around a founding Justice League member in the show recently, who is about to get their own film assuming Snyder gets away with BvS.

Now 5 episodes in to True Detective 2

Enjoying it much more than the first one. Lots of Banshee style moments. And Rachel McAdams is fantastic as the tough female cop. Certainly showing a side I've never seen before.

Not too sure of the chemistry between Vince Vaughn and Kelly Reilly but it's not spoiling my enjoyment of the show.

I recommend you see it :D

I thought it was so much worse than the first series. I was very disappointed.

That's the impression I got online, though I haven't seen it myself.
