I thought that whilst it may have been somewhat fun to watch... i also thought it was the most flimsy ending to the season ever. So far it was a really good season but unlike the previous seasons it didn't feel like everything or anything came together.
Interested to see who River is now... she seems to imply (as well as R.T.D as well iirc) that she's not what everyone thinks she is.

Moffat is legend.
Faith is restored and the best of Dave and RTD begins to fade from memory. The best is yet to come.....

It was good, but I can't say I understood very much of it.

Probably the most confusing part is the fact that some of what you saw in previous episodes (i.e. when Amy had her eyes shut in the forest thing) was actually the Doctor from the last episode going back through Amy's life to implant the memory of the Doctor into her head. As the Doctor said before "That which can be remembered can be brought back from non-existence". I also loved the little time tricks they played throughout the episode (like with the drink, and the sonic, etc...)

That's the beauty of temporal mechanics. Stretching yourself to follow a plot like that completely is not only extremely rewarding, but very ably demonstrates the writing genius and appreciation for the the 'verse that Moffat has. It really was something else.

At least these last two episodes have been good, but despite good individual moments from each episode I think this series has been way below the level of the RTD/Tennant era. Having said that, Matt Smith has done a great job establishing himself and I think he will have won most of his doubters over.

Well I thought it was frickin' genius. I may have to watch it a couple more times in glorious HD before I can say anything more meaningful

I have the first few seasons of the "New" Doctor Who and in the last one, with Catherine Tate, there was Silence in the Library where we first saw River. In that, she said that she knew the Doctor's real name and he said that there is only one reason why he would tell anyone that... Then, in the latest series with the Weeping Angels, the ministers said that she was imprisoned for killing a hero- can't remember the exact words, but it clearly was someone very special indeed... The Doctor, perhaps? The one thing that has gone a bit awry, is that in the library, she didn't realise that the Doctor had no idea who she was, because he was yet to meet her in his own time-line. However, as he has since regenerated, she must have known that the "next" time he would see her would be in his new form... BIG plot hole, but who cares. Enjoyed the new series, love Matt, but not as much as David (yet) and definitely love Amy. The one thing that I didn't like was revisiting old enemies, yet again, although you have to accept that they hate the Doctor so much that they will track him through time and space in an effort to defeat him. There were enough new scenarios and situations, however.

I have to disagree - I think that has been really great with a good long term plot slowly developing
