I am planning a big shop before Christmas. With the items I plan on getting it should last me months.

That there's no jobs going where I am... Every one I look at is either "You need experience" or "Too far away"
*sigh*

Why not? I only moved in a year ago. Why didn't they set the rent at the correct rate to start with?

Woke up, put computer on, watched Batman on TV catchup, and thought it was early in the morning.

In twelve years of renting, I've never had a rent rise before.

Because your rent has gone up by only two years worth of inflation in twelve years by the sound of it. That's a pretty good deal.

Indeed. If you can get one there are some amazing deals to be had for those with a bit of equity.
I've still got two years before I can remortgage. Hopefully some of those deals will still be around.

11 of those twelve years were in other houses, they don't relate to this house.

A mortgage is out of the question for me as I missed the boat.

You know when you put your phone on charge, then realise you didn't plug the other end into the wall an hour later? That.

If I now have a wheat / gluten allergy, what is left that I can eat? Due to controlling my diet to minimise the risk of gout, I can no longer digest pork, beef, duck, goose or lamb. I should also avoid spinach, mushrooms, peas and tomatoes - the latter I eat in small quantities.

Not much variety left.

A couple of days ago, saw Louise Minchin on BBC. Her boobs have gotten bigger. Unlikely to be implants or bra - I reckon she's fattened up! Today, Susanna Reid.......*drool*......
