Or when your wife's switched off the plug!

If I now have a wheat / gluten allergy, what is left that I can eat? Due to controlling my diet to minimise the risk of gout, I can no longer digest pork, beef, duck, goose or lamb. I should also avoid spinach, mushrooms, peas and tomatoes - the latter I eat in small quantities.

Not much variety left.

I feel for you. if I couldn't eat the foods I love I would be very unhappy.

Good luck with that

Just been involved in a brief discussion over which member of the Avengers would prefer Firefly to Battlestar Galactica.
Reckoning is that Banner would be a Farscape fan.

I think it was probably the other way - loads of girls would turn horny enough to open their legs. Back then you had to be a celeb. These days they'll do it for some cider. Or they just lied, said they were 16 to get backstage. I find it difficult to accept that kiddly fiddling was so prominent back then.

Google Wave. Remember that?

I just got an email saying "This discussions was exported to Rizzoma from Google Wave"

Unfortunately, the linky says: "The database is down for maintenance, please try again in a few minutes."

So that's a great success story then

I just googled "why can't marcus wareing's background acknowledge gordon ramsay" and the return was "safari can't open the page as your iPhone is not connected to the Internet" which it clearly is as anything else I try to do works fine. I feel a conspiracy.

Stollen cake is on my mind. It's a bit late in the evening to start baking now, but maybe tomorrow. I have all the ingredients and it's even seasonal, so why not. Hopefully it wont be as dense as the last brick I made

OK that's slightly odd; the same actress plays his mother in Smallville.

The character has been played by over a dozen different actresses in different shows. That must be some kind of record

I know. I thought she was a bit of a milf at the start of the series. Until I realised she was as old as my dad.
