Since when is it OK to say you're going to attend a catered event, not show up and when the host mentions it to laugh at them rather than apologising for not turning up?

It isn't, but this does not seem to stop people.

I was at a party at the weekend and about 11 people who said they were coming didn't show up and only gave last minute notice (same day for some of them).
A couple of people were genuinely ill which is fair enough but the majority of people just changed their minds at the last minute which, given that the event had been organised for months really is just being crappy.

Homebase have told me an oven/hob I ordered and paid for at the start of July wing be in stock until September.
Thanks for that! So I'm not going to have a hob for a month. Thankfully I can plug in the old electric oven in on an extension cable

Most of the kitchen is coming from Howdens. It's just the cooker and extractor coming from Homebase as they did price match for online stores.

Tw@t of a customer has announced that they are now going to charge an admin fee for any and all ARFs (non-compliances - 95% of which are bull$h!t). The fee equates to 10% of the cost of a work crew per day. Four crews = a potential £3000 a day.

Thing is, according to the rules they have put in place, they are the cause of more ARFs than us, so we are duty bound to counter charge them.

This means that we have to spend several hours every week producing, receiving and collating paperwork which will all cancel each other out in a bizarre game of Snap! at the weekly progress meetings! :x

Personal fail.
We're having some work done to the drains, it turns out.
I know this, because I've just flushed the toilet.
And had a knock on the door from a fairly grumpy plumber.

Apologies mate, etc.

Damn you Microsoft! I get it, you want people to use Windows 10.
As part of encouraging people to move they seem to have decided to kill off some of the MSN apps, I assume to make make way for new universal Win 10 equivalents.
This includes the Health and Fitness app. For the last couple of weeks every time I've used it it's popped up a message saying the app will stop working at the start of November and to download any data stored in the app otherwise it'll be lost when the app dies in November. I don't have a problem with that per se. What I do have a problem with its the sudden decision to start crippling features starting yesterday rendering the app effectively useless.

The real problem though its the apparent lack of an equivalent replacement. The nearest is the Microsoft Health app. Main problem with that its that it only appears to work it you've got a Microsoft Band deely. If they think I'm spending over £100 to use a free app they can [LIFTED] right off.

That'll teach me to use Windows Phone :x

Just about everything I've read about 10 suggests they want you using it at all costs.

The Bing / MSN sites and apps have been scrapped. They have rationalised the whole website and they have simply cut off services that "nobody" was using .

If so, why can't I install it on my laptop? It just tells me that I will be informed when it has been released... :?

Can't you just download it off their site? Or is it still being rationed out or something? Sony can't be allowed all the FAIL, I guess...
