Standing there picking my nose, as you do, to find the neighbour and her daughter have traipsed into the yard. I then have to abandon my snack and can of Coke since I had to go and get mother dearest and then avoid the usual nattering :x

would you like to borrow my rifle? its clear now why you were questioning about it...

Could you put a bear trap behind the gate? ;)

Good suggestions all!

The area where I live is 'small' enough without people just dandering on in, it drives me nuts.

So my credit and debit cards were replaced in less than 48 hours (reported 1530 on Tues, arrive home Thurs PM to find they're there). Driving license is gonna take 2-3 weeks.

Turns out I was wrong. Went on to DVLA website Saturday evening and punched the info through. Got both card and paper license on Wednesday morning. I suspect new style passport and maybe Crime Ref number helped.

Not only has my father now plugged the router in behind the TV, he's also fond of pressing the wrong plug switch - tonight he used his walking stick to do this. He might have trouble later after it's been BASHED OFF HIS FCUKING SKULL.

I hadn't realised( and no one told me) that contractor was modifying drawings by overriding them with newest revision instead of adding them as new entries. Guess who's got 200 mark up details outstanding :s

I wish all my patients would turn up on time. So far only one has bothered to show up. I should have been on patient number three by now.

Our gp has a rule where they can refuse to see you if you turn up more than ten minutes late. Do you guys have something similar?

We operate a computer based check in system. If you arrive more than 15 mins early or more than 10 mins late, you can't check in. You then have to speak to a receptionist who will ring or message me to ask. Depending on how things are, I'll squeeze them in, make them wait until the end, or ask them to rebook. Commonly the former and rarely the latter.

FWIW three people didn't turn up today.
