Stollen cake is on my mind. It's a bit late in the evening to start baking now, but maybe tomorrow. I have all the ingredients and it's even seasonal, so why not. Hopefully it wont be as dense as the last brick I made

Lidl sell a great Stollen and not too expensive either.

Lucky man! Lucky woman? I'll let the girls here decide.

She used to be my second fave Spice Girl after Geri. I think these days, she's probably first choice!

I saw Mel C on 8 out of 10 cats recently and she definitely seems to have grown in to her looks

Jamie doesn't do it for me ;)

I've heard Emma on the radio a few times. Reckon she'll do a good job.

I have a cunning plan to mend my slight radiator leak.
Keeping the car cool is hardly a massive issue in this weather, but still. It'll do until I afford a proper mend in a couple of months.

JB Weld or Quick Steel - basically an epoxy impregnated with steel. Fixed from the outside - I intend to fill the finned area that's leaking with it, basically plug it that way. It'll cause a slight drop in the cooling capability, but nothing noticeable I wouldn't think.

Vehicle radiator shops will take your old unit and replace the core. Its not as expensive as you think, the trouble is finding the shop these days.

The fact that the company who won the PFI contract, to rebuild the island roads over the next seven years, caused the downs road to be closed this morning, because they only gritted one lane!

Another extended journey to work, due to the idiocy of others.

Also - since my frikkin system refuses to let me into any other threads this morning, this is my FPOTD, Random Sh!t, Ranting & Venting, and Tales of Fail thread; all rolled into one.

Have a frikkin super day.

Yeah there's one near me, but really, I can't afford to mend it properly until February, so this should do the trick until then.
It's also a 3-row core with 1" tubes in aluminium, which they may or may not have on the shelf.

OOOH OOOH OOOH The other thing that's on my mind is that The Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Band In The World (Rocket From The Crypt for the uninitiated) have announced that they're reforming for a tour and a record.
THIS IS THE BEST NEWS ALL DAY.
On a day when Paul McCartney is announced as a stand in for Kurt Cobain, it seems the rock gods are not without a sense of humour.
